Maurice Jones-Drew is probably the smartest running back in the league. And adding him to your fantasy football team is probably the smartest move, or not- depending on who you ask. Some would suggest that the UCLA graduate made an idiodic play by taking a knee at the 1-yard line instead of walking it in for the touchdown to seal the game against the Jets last week, while most claim that it was a selfless play that showed his importance of the team. At any rate, no one can deny his beastly stats- 13 TDs, almost 1000 yards, and about 6 yards per carry- through 10 games, and to say the least, Jones-Drew is the ultamite hybrid running back. He can be best described as a tank and a Lamborghini fused together, and what you get on the field is a player that batters through defenses, breaks tackles, and reaches game-breaker speed in seconds. At 5'7 and 208 lbs, his center of gravity is so low that he hugs the ground as he runs, slipping right under the defenders nose- and legs for that matter. In only his fourth season 'Mo-Jo' is becoming the premier back in the NFL.
